Nano: Day 18 – 30k…woop!
I finally broke out of the monotonous loop my novel was travelling in…just in time as well. I feel like a plane pulling out of a nosedive just before it crashes to the ground and bursts into flames…
*sigh*
I’ve moved onto Act 2 of my novel, gently persuading the characters there with an explosion and a few bullets. I thought it was about time they were nudged in the direction of an interesting plot.

I've been creeping toward 30k, but alas, I'm 1500 words away and I can't face the last stint. I'm feel bored and depressed by my story. I'm to the point of using the keyboard merely for resting my head on while I cry in frustration. Help 🙁
Want to swap stories for 1,500 words??
I was in the same place yesterday, but the change of scenery really got things going. MC was in the same building for so long it was a relief when the canteen wall exploded and he escaped!
Would a change of location help?
Either that or sneak back and stick an extra word in every third sentence…that HAS to be worth 1,500!
