Back on track

After setting some self imposed deadlines last night (under duress!), I have managed to add 1,032 words to my current work in progress. I still need to finish scribbling down the existing plot points so I can figure out where the book is going, and I also need to polish my character profiles so I can figure out where the MCs want to take the story, but at least I’m back in the game!
It was nice to read back through some previous sections and think “Who the hell wrote this? It’s not that bad!” Coming across characters I have no memory of writing is also quite strange/scary/funny.
And before I forget, even though its a bit late to be mentioning this, if you get chance head on over to Lily Childs’ amazing blog where she is hosting a whole month of amazing fiction for her February Femmes Fatales month.
Every day there will be a brand spanking new story from 14 amazing women writers. 28 tales in all to fill your February with exceptional femme fatale prose and poetry.

  1. Cheers, StF. Yes, it's very strange, but also interesting to find out all about them as if you were reading someone elses book!

  2. I don't need to give you a kicking? Is it wrong to say I'm kind of disappointed – I had my hardest pair of boots on. LOL. Seriously, well done for getting back on track.

Oh…and Morwenna says thank you for the tasty meal šŸ˜‰
