708 words

Hmmm, 708 words into a new short story but I’m not sure if it’s going anywhere. Well not actually going anywhere because it’s just sat there…like a dead slug..all squishy *pokes it with a stick*

Where’s a muse when you need one!

I might have to start up another short. Nothing makes me want to work on a project more than having another one I should be working on 😀

  1. I have a few stories like that – I keep saying I'll get round to finishing them.

When you should be concerned is if one of the characters from your unfinished stories starts talking to you! Mad you say. Me? Noooo.

  2. He can talk to me all he wants, as long as he tells me what he'd do in the situation I've put him in! Telling me in third person viewpoint would be quite handy as well 😀

I may have to shove him to the side until he starts to whisper in my ear…

  3. Find him a nice spot, like the sofa, give him a notepad and pen, and then ask him what he wants to happen. In third person, of course! NB: coffee and cake will help to. Or beer.
