Queen of Horror Ingrid Pitt dies aged 73
Ingrid Pitt, the legendary scream queen of the 70s, has died aged 73.
Famous for such films as Countess Dracula, The House That Dripped Blood, The Vampire Lovers and The Wicker Man, the Polish born queen of horror made her name playing provocative and sexy antagonists, with her round bouncing ample…acting skills.
Ingrid was also a successful writer and columnist, and wrote several horror related books including ‘The Ingrid Pitt Bedside Companion For Vampire Lovers’, ‘The Ingrid Pitt Bedside Companion For Ghosthunters’ and ‘The Mammoth Book of Vampire Stories by Women’.
